AISSC – stands for Afghanistan International Strategic Studies Center, is an independent non profit, non governmental, non partisan, self funded think tank founded by renowned Afghan scholar, politician, strategist and human rights activist Dr. Hatef Mokhtar. AISSC works in the field of strategy and planning to provide consultation and advisory services to the Afghanistan Government, public departments, media and institutions on policy making, strategic perspectives on diplomatic and economic engagements, recommendations for constitutional reforms and development.
AISSC don’t represent neither previous nor current government in Afghanistan. We are an institution whose works and perspectives are based on total neutrality and facts.
Beliefs
AISSC is an initiative which support, promote and defend freedom of expression, speech and free press on the bases of the rights given as per the UN Charter in its universal declaration on human rights.
AISSC believes that all the conflicts can be solve through mutual understanding and dialog.
AISSC support, promote and defend the journalistic values and their rights for criticism and free coverage which is essential for a modern and cultured society.

AISSC’s vision is to foresee a sustainable future for a civilized and a unified state of Afghanistan where peace prevails, where there are no conflicts and where its citizenry lives in a just society with access to their rights and freedom.
